DRHS Cheer Tryouts
Mark your calendar! Tryouts are three days in mid-April.. The DRHS cheer team consists of the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. No prior experience is required for Junior Varsity cheer. Just show up with a positive attitude and willingness to learn! For Varsity, a standing back handspring is required and/or prior Varsity experience.
Junior Varsity & Varsity Cheer Tryouts
🗓 Tuesday, April 14 - Thursday, April 16, 2026
⏰ 6 - 8 p.m.

Once you have made the team, please plan to join us on Tuesday, April 21 for a uniform-fitting and Parent Meeting.
Tryout Checklist
✔ Complete the R-School/Physical
✔ Pay the $45 tryout fee (cash or check)
✔ Bring a nice portrait photo
✔ Fill out required forms
✔ Join the DRHS cheer 26-27 Band app
✔ Wear a white shirt (no logo) and black shorts
✔ Provide two teacher references and latest grades
✔ Meet someone new at tryouts!
